Objective of the SWBF
The SWBF is a community fund recently set up with the help of the BMC. Our aim is to promote sports climbing in South Wales by raising funds for re-equipment of in-situ protection on crags designated for sports climbing under the terms of the current bolt policy.
If your fed up with clipping scrap metal or your eye sights not good enough to see the next bolt get involved. Currently there is barely sufficient funds to buy a bag of chips so we are looking for individuals prepared to volunteer as fundraisers in the following initiatives and dream up new ideas for improving our sports crags.
Telpyn, Carmarthenshire, before above, after below
In the meantime you can reach us at at our e-mail address: southwalesboltfund@yahoo.co.uk. We are looking forward to hearing from you. Please contact us with suggestions of crags/routes which require TLC on the bolt front, also we need feedback on work already done and of course volunteers to do the work.
Donations can be made by cheque to the treasurer or by collection jars (see contacts) or with PAYPAL, see links page...
